Who we supportRakuxon Care

Older people

Most of our work. Packages are built around what someone can still do, not only what they cannot, and reviewed as that changes.

Who it is for

Is this you?

Support that keeps independence intact for as long as possible.

Someone living at home alone

Independence is still there, but parts of the week have started to slip.

Couples supporting each other

You have been managing between you, and one of you is now carrying more than is fair.

Families living at a distance

You cannot drop in, and phone calls are not telling you what you need to know.

Built around what someone can still do

Most of our work is with older people living at home. Packages start from what is still going well — the garden, the crossword, the Tuesday hairdresser — and add support only where the week has started to slip. The aim is not to take over the house.

  • Help with daily routines without stripping out independence
  • Falls awareness and mobility support
  • Medication support and meal help
  • Companionship and errands when isolation is the real risk

For families who cannot be there every day

Adult children living in another city, or a spouse who is already doing too much, need a provider that reports back without turning the person into a case. We agree what you want to hear, and we call when something actually changes.

  • A named coordinator for the family
  • Visit notes on request
  • A plan that names what 'good' looks like for this person
  • Reviews you can join by phone if you cannot be in the room
How it works

Four steps to care starting

  1. Step 01

    Enquiry

Tell us what is happening. One conversation, no obligation.

  2. Step 02

    Assessment

We visit at home to understand the person, routine and risks.

  3. Step 03

    Care plan

A written plan you agree to, with named carers and a schedule.

  4. Step 04

    Care starts

Support begins, and the plan is reviewed as needs change.
